Doubles troubles: Mal and Locky style

And here i was thinking me and greg had an awful doubles list, and nec minute, ive got an email from that lil rascal Mal, about his upcoming doubles tourney:

Hello chaps, long time since I posted, usual excuses Xmas, New Year, Work, Moving House & Growing tomatoes you know how it is. So here I am return of the Pew Pew. Me and My mate Locky are off to Warclouds in CHCH, its a fantasy doubles event with 1250pts a piece using Minimum Comp no duplicate Rare and no Triple Special or some such you can see it here http://forum.nzwargamer.net/viewtopic.php?f=22&t=10398

Its one of my favourite tournament of the NZ scene, its in Woolston Working Mens club so that means cheap beer, ok food and plenty sweaty wargamers on a hot summers day. Beautiful.

I'm taking my lizard filth and Locky is taking Ogres, errrrrrrr................double filth. To be fair Locky was a bit more organised then me and had the list he wanted to take awhile ago here is what I think he is taking,

So in the wise words of the A-team whats the plan? well............as you can see its a little skink heavy, bascially/literally I'm going to chaff them up and let Locky's ogres smash some things. In the words of Locky  "your list is a work of art", brought a tear to my eye I can tell you. As Locky and I live on completely different islands its pretty hard to get in any practice, but we normally get on and as long as the beer is running we should have any problems.

We won this tournament last year, so would be good to win it again or at least do well with it. Locky, will be touching down in CHCH on Friday evening and the fridge is already stocked with plenty of beer, I'd imagine the usual pre-tournament smack talk to begin as well. Will have the Batreps and photo's up next week. (No promise cause after a jug or 2 i'm normally quite drunk and forgetful)
